Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 15, 2026
These terms govern quotes, orders, payment, and delivery between you and Northern Makers Ltd (trading as Nova Exhibits), registered at Unit 5, Overtown Farm, Warburton WA13 9TG, United Kingdom ("Nova", "we", "us"). By placing an order or requesting a quote, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance
These terms apply to all quotes and orders placed through novaexhibits.com or with our team. If you are ordering on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.
2. Quotes & pricing
Prices shown in the configurator are estimates for the selected configuration, materials, freight, and installation. The authoritative price for any order is the amount confirmed at checkout. Quotes are valid for [QUOTE VALIDITY, e.g. 30 days] unless stated otherwise. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) on novaexhibits.com and pounds sterling (GBP) on novaexhibits.co.uk, and exclude any applicable taxes and duties unless noted.
3. Orders
An order is placed when you complete checkout. Your order is accepted when we confirm it; we may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is unavailable or a pricing error occurs), in which case we will refund any amount paid.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept [card and ACH bank transfer]. Card payments are captured at checkout. Bank (ACH) payments settle asynchronously and may take several business days; your order proceeds once payment has settled. [Deposit terms, if any — e.g. "A 50% deposit is due at order; the balance is due before shipment."]
5. Freight & delivery
Freight charges shown are estimates and may be adjusted based on the final destination, access, and timing. Title and risk of loss pass to you on [delivery / shipment — confirm]. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed.
6. Installation & dismantle
Where installation and dismantle are included, you are responsible for providing timely venue access, accurate floor plans, and any required show-floor labor or permissions. Additional charges may apply for changes on site or conditions outside our control.
7. Lead times
Production lead times depend on the configuration and current capacity and are confirmed at order. [Typical lead time, e.g. "Standard kits ship within X weeks of confirmed order and payment."]
8. Changes & cancellations
Change or cancellation requests must be made in writing. [Cancellation policy — e.g. window before production starts, deposit/restocking terms, and what becomes non-refundable once fabrication begins.]
9. Warranty & returns
We stand behind our build with our Fit & Finish and Spec Match guarantees: if an item arrives damaged, below spec, or not matching your approved configuration, we will repair or replace it. [Warranty period and exact remedy — e.g. "for X days after delivery"; what's excluded (normal wear, misuse, unauthorized modification); and the return/RMA process.]
10. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate configuration, brand assets, and venue information.
- Review and approve designs and specs before production.
- Ensure venue access and compliance with show-floor rules.
11. Intellectual property
Nova's designs, structural systems, and the Nova brand remain our property. You retain rights to your own brand assets and grant us a limited license to use them to produce your order.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nova is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [Confirm with counsel.]
13. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. [Confirm with counsel — and whether a US jurisdiction clause is preferred for US orders.]
